K-9 Security & Detection
HollowPoint's K-9 Division is available for independent contract work or can be integrated into your personal protection plan. Our K-9 units can provide Explosive Device services, Conduct Narcotic Searches, or can be used as a protection service asset for team and principle protection.
Our staff is trained in dignitary protection, tactical movement, and other executive protection tactics. Our K-9 units are a visible tool to add to your protection services. Our handlers in this division are mostly law enforcement handlers and have experience in high profile details. We offer a wide range of options in appearance. All units are transported in unmarked vehicles equipped with all K-9 support gear needed for deployments. Our handlers can be in tactical uniforms, business suits, and anything in between depending on what the client deems necessary and depending on what image the client wants to give.
All of our K-9 units are nationally certified and must recertify each year. This certification helps to maintain the highest standards as well as limit liability.
Explosive Detection
Our handlers and K-9 units are trained to conduct detained searches of automobiles, aircrafts, maritime vessels, offices, warehouses, houses, or any other area public or private. Our K-9 units can conduct these sweeps in less time than it would take eight or more human agents, even doing so more thoroughly.
Therefore the canine detection approach is a cost-effective, safe, quick way to determine if there has been any ordinary activity and a great deterrent for any such activity in the future. An explosive detection dog is the most reliable tool on the market pertaining to detecting explosive devices.
We offer two different types of searches. We have covert searches where the search is very discreet, not implying any threat that may cause some panic. Second is an overt search where the client wants to show a visible deterrent to criminal activity.
Narcotics Detection
Narcotics Detection Dogs help to maintain "Drug Free" environments both at the workplace and at schools.
Our highly trained and experienced K-9 teams are always available to inspect private or commercial facilities for the presence of illegal drugs. A growing concern in all of our public areas is the possibility of narcotic possession. Our responsibility is to help maintain a drug free environment for safety, learning and working.
What happens when Narcotics are found?
We are a privately contracted service. Detection work is performed to your instructions and guidelines, so any contraband found on the premises is held in strict confidence. If evidence of illegal activity is uncovered, the next course of action remains your decision. Human resource/management would be able to proceed with any or all of the following options: suspension, termination, drug rehabilitation, parent intervention (for students), or legal prosecution.
How do Narcotic Detection Dogs work?
Our detection dogs are highly intelligent canines that go through intensive training and behavioral programs to learn to detect Cocaine, Heroin, Marijuana, Meth, and LSD. The same type of techniques are used by law enforcement agencies, governments, and industries worldwide. Not only do these methods show cost effectiveness, they are highly effective.

Executive/Dignitary Protection
HollowPoint's K-9 Division is available for independent contract work and will protect their principal at all costs. Fearless and unrelenting, these K-9s will perform regardless of the circumstances and yet are stable and friendly enough to play with your children or work in a crowded, busy environment without fear or risk of inappropriate behavior from the animals. Most of our K-9 teams are cross trained and can conduct both protective service missions as well as detection searches. These teams provide unique and invaluable services to our clients, and can be used both for long term or short term missions to ensure continual safety under even the most high risk conditions.
We can also provide informational programs and demonstrations for employers, employees, family or community as well as assisting in defining or possibly amending policy to incorporate the use of detection canines.
